Ripoff Fraudulent Deceitful Telemarketing Scam Alert from

Saturday, December 4 @ 8:30 PM (central), my teenage son (14 yrs) received a call from Premier Benefits about our family being randomly selected to receive a package including a $200 gift card (to be used anywhere), 4 Free Movie Passes, and that all would be sent to us as part of a promotional package from Premier Benefits. All it would cost him is $3.95.

I was not home at the time, they did not specifically ask for anyone, so he listened to what they had to offer.

Of course, being right before Christmas, he tought of all the gifts he could get with this gift card and take his girlfriend to the movies for free. He offered "Winford" (with a strong Indian accent) to send him the $3.95 cash through the mail. "Winford" proceeded to assure him that the most SECURE and SAFE means of payment was for him to give him a checking account number. "Winford" also proceeded to give him all the information about the company which he wrote down, he transferred him to his manager (whose Indian accent was so strong and talking so fast) that my son could not understand him; so he in turn transferred him again to a "Senior Manager" named DANNY RODGERS. "Danny" had a milder INDIAN accent and was clearer.

So my son, after all this assurance from "Danny", gave them a checking account number. They, however, never asked if he was over 18 years and authorized to do so.

So after the conversation, my son, all excited about the deal he just got, decided to conduct a research on Premier Benefits. To his surprise, the first result of the internet search was about Premier Benefits being a RIPOFF FRAUD Telemarking company from Orange, California.

He realized what had just happenned and told me about it when I got home. It's now Sunday afternoon and I cannot do a thing until the Bank's customer service opens on Monday.

I will be at the Bank first thing tomorrow trying to stop any payment to that Fraudulent Deceitful Ripoff Telemarketing company called Premier Benefits.

I know that my son learned his lesson, but I'm taking the time to write this report to help put Fraudulent TELEMARKETERS out of business. DON'T talk to them when they call your house. DO NOT give them a chance to record you saying anything. Because they can edit any tape and make it sound like you approved or authorized something. When they call, hang up. Curse them out if you have to. I sometimes ask them for their home phone numbers, so I can return the favor and call them at home. Had I been home last night, I would not have given them more than 10 seconds, enough time to say, Don't call here, I don't do ANY business over the phone. NEVER, NEVER.

Talk to your kids about FRAUD over the phone. I was prepared, but my son was not. Educate everyone in the house, Grandma, the babysitter, the Nanny, the Cleaning Lady, anybody who can be in your house and answer your phone.

PREMIER BENEFITS are crooks taking advantage of people trying to make a decent living in this world. They need to be STOPPED.
