In 2007 & 2008 Hershocks sold and installed windows in our house. One of the big reasons we bought from Hershocks was the fifty year guarantee on the windows. Last year several of the windows developed spots. When I called they told me that the company, Gorell, had been bought out. But an order was placed for replacements. After about six months and a couple of calls from me they told me they ordered the wrong size. I gave them two more months and called back. I talked to someone named Jerry, I believe, and he said that the guarantee was from Gorell not Hershocks and they didn't have to honor it. When they were selling the windows that was one of their big selling points. We now have several windows that have a lot of spots.
