Miscellaneous

I have been receiving magazines which I never ordered. They said they were part of a free gas card that I accepted. I canceled it within the trial period, but they said the magazines were not canceled, they needed to be canceled seperately. They keep calling me & saying my subsription is renewing. I kept saying I want everything canceled. They said I have to go thru a process & that I have to go thru it to cancel. She "prepped" me as to what to say & said I need to say yes until the end which then I can say no. They asked for the Exp date of my credit card, date of birth, occupation, & marital status. One of the first questions is that I authorize them to draft $49.90 to my credit card which I said no. The woman stopped the recording & repeated I needed to say yes to this portion & that she would nget to the end of the recording & then I could cancel the renewal. They switched me to a supervisor who I told that I wanted to cancel & I told her I was told by this group months ago things would stop. She asked who told me & I told her I don't have a name from months ago. She proceeded to tell me she would have written it down & she always does. I asked for her name & then she hung up on me. Then, they still charged me $5 on my credit card. These people are crooks!!! They need to be shut down!!!
