I had Medicare D with Humana. They shipped me RX drugs from their Right Source mail order pharmacy 6/2- 6/18 which I paid for... Then on Oct. 27 I received a letter from Humana stating that they made an error regarding that June bill... A 120 days after the fact! Humana had the unmitigated gall to demand their money 120 days after the fact. It was their error not mine why should I pay for it!!! Especially 120
days after the fact... I can not believe they would do this to a Walgreen's or a CVS"s customer. Right Source Humana's mail order pharmacy and I stress mail order had all the time in the world to check the price of the drugs prior to shipment and billing... They made an error instead of being an adult about the matter and accepting their responsibility they are making a disabled senior living on Social Security make good on their mistake.
I feel that this is not only morally wrong but illegal and should not be allowed. I have written to Humana twice and filed a grievance to no avail the same with the Better Business
Bureau. Humana may be big but they are not above reproach and in this case they are certainly in error.
