I was sent a letter from this company claiming I had won a check for £20,500. Apparently all I had to do was buy some overpriced tat from their catalogue that came with the announcement and my check would be delivered by secure mail within the next forty eight hours. I checked this company online and found out they're just one of many scamming companies based in the south of France and the Netherlands who send similar mailings to vunarable people and the elderly telling them they've won large cash prizes and they have to make purchases from the enclosed catalogues to claim their "prizes". Apparently these fraudsters are making millions from this kind of activity, i feel it's unfair and leeches like this need to be stopped. There are people who've been tricked out of hundreds of pounds by ordering junk from these mailing companies and they operate under a series of different names selling products from housewares to confectionary to health supplements at inflated costs. I refuse to fall for these type of cons. Nobody actually receives their promised cash prizes but are bombarded with more and more junk mail.
