I would like to complain, but I it would not be about Dr. Banks it would be directed more in regards to the insurance company, which is responsible for payment. The greatest thing of all is that Dr. Banks does not treat workman's compensation patients and she has made an exception. Dr. Banks has not been paid by my insurance company for more than 6 (six) months and my treatments are very expensive. However she continues to provide impeccable services to me without pay. This has been the most aborrent situation in my life. Which has been on the line for many years now. Actually on a visit to Stanford, as being referred by Dr. Banks they gave me 2 (two) years to live in 2009. However due to Dr. Banks support and treatment in spite of non payments. She has encoraged me to live the best life I possibly can due to my conditions. I have often wondered how she could possibly continue to treat me without payment. She provides excellent service although I can not re-pay her at this time. If there were more doctors like Dr. Banks patients would live longer and have HOPE, something she has demanded that I indulge in over and over again, I have been able to reduce the amount of medication ordered by the Stanford Physician, and live a some what normal life, within my limitations. God Bless Dr. Banks and her ability to care about her patients and take the time to get to know them and their physical disablities. If there were more doctors who cared about their patients people with chronic illnesses could possibly live longer and reduce their medication intake.By the way Dr. Banks started my regime of water therapy, now I can run 30 miles 3 (three) times a week. Although I suffer from an enormous amount of pain I continue to use it as motivation to continue. Thank You for a life that has been extended with quality not quantity. God Bless You!!!
