Was to pay a $2.99 for a one time processing fee to receive WAKANETWORK discount coupons to Wal-mart and other stores. Was told would receive email with instructions on use. Did not receive confirming email and forgot about coupons. This was on 2/28 and was notified by credit card fraud department on 3/7 that WAKANETWORK had submitted a charge of 19.99 against my debit card and also T-Mobile had submitted (4) four charges totaling $1,455.71.
When I called ESI*WAKANETWORK, (866-259-9490) they informed me that the $19.99 was for my first months service. I told them that I did not agree to any charge other than the $2.99 and that I had specifically stated on 2/28 that I was not going to accept any charges other than the $2.99. I told the customer rep. On 3/8 that since I had not received the confirming email with instructions and therefore have not received any of the promised coupons, that I wanted my money refunded. I was told that the money could not be refunded, however she could give (3) three months of service for no additional fees. I told her that I did not want their service and to refund my money to which I was told that "my money could not be refunded".
