Crude Haulers Gone Bad

I was looking to start working in the Oil Field in West Texas hauling crude. I found this company on the Craiglist transport page. I shot them a resume and I got a call. I drove 10 hours to hell. They put me up in a room and that very night 2 guys quit. They were super nice at first, but them it started to turn. Twelve hour days turned quickly to 16 hour days. I was learning something new so, I really was kind of over looking the HOS rule. Then after training. I was placed on a team with a guy I didn't really want to team with. Actually I didn't go out to West Texas to team drive but, I ended up doing it. The truck didn't have air and there was only ONE bed in the sleeper and it stunk to high Heaven. I really didn't like that! I informed the owner that I was very uncomfortable with the working situation and he reassured me that he would take care of it. After a week of Hell and a death in my family I quit. When I get my pay check its very short. I was charged $2,250 for my training fees and my pay rate went from $19 per hour to $7.25 per hour. I didn't know that was legal. At the end I received a pay check for $491.00 for a two week work period and the kicker is I still owe these people $315.00 for some more fees. I guess these guys never heard of the Emancipation Proclamation. DO NOT WORK FOR KICKIN A TRUCKIN of Monahans, Texas. They are looking for Team and Solo Crude Drivers and in the Odessa, Texas Area!
