Recycling service not as stated - Waste Management NW

We pay an extra fee to have our recycling picked up and supposively taken to a recycling center. My wife has noticed that the last several times our recycling was picked up by the trash truck. We called WM to straighten this out an were informed that since our material was picked up they didn't see a problem with our service. We have since cancled our recycling service
