I was having troubles with my PC and this company popped up an ad. The person on the other end let on that they represented Hewlitt Packard, (which is what i have.) i told him that my PC was only 5 months old and should come under the warranty. He said that my warranty only covered hardware. It would cost 219.99 to receive their services for a year and to fix the problem. I charged the fee to my visa. Visa rejected the charge because the phone number was invalid, email was returned, and the company was located in india. When ADV called the next morning, the man was very hostile when i told him that i was canceling their service. He said I couldn't cancel.
I called HP and they said they are deffinitely not affilliated with ADV and HP repaired my PC free of charge and removed all the junk that ADV had installed on it. Also ADV says at they are a 24/7 service. Not so, i tried and they will not answer. Stay away from these people, they took complete control of my PC
