Crappy, crappy service.
After receiving a final attempt door tag at my door (unsurprising as they attempted to deliver at 2:30 each day when we are at work) I phoned the call centre to confirm I would pick up the parcel at the depot on Friday morning. The call centre informed me that I could not do so because the parcel was on route to be delivered to my home that day. So I stayed home and waited. And waited. A 4:30 pm I phoned the call centre-who confirmed the parcel was on tis way. I called at 5:30 pm only to be reassured by the operator that the parcel was on its way. Finally, at 6:30 pm I receive a call from FEDEX saying my precious parcel was at the depot and I could come pick it up. Oh, and they close at 8pm and they do not deliver on weekends. Having a previous engagement I could not do so. I then spoke at length with the duty officer -who said it was a mistake on the call centre's part. He then promised that the parcel would be delivered on Monday. I stay home on Monday - no parcel. I speak with the call centre who says the parcel is at the depot, I need to go pick it up. I speak with the manager who says no attempts were made to deliver on Monday because three attempts had already been made. They blame the ground team for the mistake, the ground team blames the call centre. No one takes responsability.- please boycott FEDEX.
