Jacqueline Mango used various sites on the internet to advertise their horse, Orchard Views Vixen from their farm, SunstoneArabians. She agreed to sell her for $2,000.00 with a $1,000.00 deposit down and delivery fee of $325.00 upon delivery to our home. The mare was supposed to be "almost 17hh (tall). She was also described as a beautiful palomino/white Pinto Saddlebred that would take"all the ribbons" at the World Pinto Championships!
What came to our farm was a poor little (15hh) Manure caked filly with her tail cut off (rather than cleaning it). Her left front foot was terribly splayed out with growths on the inside (under the hoof). Her left rear was similar, but not as bad. The Transport person valued the animal at $250.00 and he hadn't looked at the bottom of her feet. The farrier, however said he'd value the filly at $35.00, although, he'd more than likely pass her up if at an action.
She was so filthy with manure, you couldn't even see that she was a Pinto. The poor mare was 300lbs. Underweight.
We've tried to contact either Robert or Cheryl Mango with no return. The lady that also had two horses on the same truck ALSO got scammed. I'm sure there are others that have been scammed through the internet by these people.
