I too was referred to KAT CAPITAL for refinance. After over six months I receive a snotty phone call telling me that KAT cannot do anything for me and that I don't qualify for HARP. The party that called me to advise I didn't qualify for any of their programs was rude and snippy.
My agreement with UMC was in the event that I somehow did not qualify or that KAT was unable to help me, I was to get back all of my money but $300 and now from reading these comnplaints, I'm sure I'm out the full $2500.
