Contacted this atty for a legal issue in Texas with me being in California. Submitted all my information for him to perform the services and paid him the initial deposit. My need was time sensitive and he was aware of that fact and after he received the payment he stated that he had submitted documentation to the other party and is awaiting their response. After a week I called him to follow up and he ignored ALL of my calls and attempts to contact him, so I followed up with the other party and they stated that nothing had been received from him on my behalf in the matter and my dead line had passed. Thus causing me to be unable to negotiate the issue. Appealed the ruling but even though I had a valid defense, I MISSED THE DEADLINE TO PRESENT IT because Mr. Payne scammed me.
