A middle eastern person has called my Verizon cell phone number about 4-6 weeks ago claiming there was a legal matter against me and that I would be arrested by my local sheriff. I checked the number out online and found a bunch of complaints regarding the same allegations/threats. I blocked the number from my cell phone. However, YESTERDAY (2/8) I was out of my office and someone had called with the same middle eastern accent leaving a message regarding the same thing! I don't know how they got my work number. It is a scam, for sure, and could have easily ignored it. Now they are calling my place of employment and I cannot have that! It's harrassment and I don't know how they got my information.
