Blocked From Friend Requests; I Am a 68-Year-Old Grandmother

Facebook claims that numerous people have complained that I asked for friendship from people I do not know. I have asked for friends from people with whom we have the same friends. One time I unfriended my own granddaughter and was slapped with being unable to ask for friends for a number of months.

I am a 68-year-old grandmother and not some kind of pervert. I asked for a friend from someone whose views I respected, and the lady was irate. I told her to simply ignore the request, and that was the end of that. Sometimes I do not know what I am hitting because I am new at this, but I feel that Facebook is truly unreasonable.
