Was called by a "Matt Lobow" I called them back and verified that they were a company in the first place. He told me that they had 2 GUARANTEED REO listings in my area, and a couple more that were not guaranteed. However, if I would complete the BPO's on them I would be on the list of listing agents. They assigned my 4 BPO's at $75/BPO and guaranteed me 2 listings. The "Guaranteed" listings were both vacant and had foreclosure warning stickers on the homes. I checked county records and they were both a couple months out to be sold at auction/listed. I figured if it WAS legit, it was worth the listings. The sad thing is they have called me before and I declined, even with the guarantee. I usually don't pay for listings or such. This time, they had a house in my specific area of expertise and I fell for it. I called Matt and asked about it, and everything seemed fine, until I couldn't get a hold of him any longer. I paid for the 2 listings they told me were mine, and have an email that if I am not assigned them I would get my money refunded. However, now the website is down, Matt still has a voice mail, but does not return my calls, and there has been no payment on the $300. I am considering legal action at this point. If you are called by them RUN AWAY! They told me 30-45 days for BPO payment, and I have not received a dime.in fact, their system stated that they were never reviewed! They simply have you fill out forms, and then leave them in limbo. As for the charges, I have proof I was only supposed to be charged ONCE but they charged me TWICE. They have to be a scam, and the more I see on here, and from other Realtors, the more I know I was taken on this one!
