A smooth talking person suckered my husband into trying for a loan modification becuase we were trying to save his mothers home from forclosure. Step father lived in the home for 4 months after my husbands mother passed away and did not tells us that he was not paying the mortgage. The whole time he was in the home we were trying to become authroized to be able to get information about the mortgage. The Mortgage Company is another story.

So we can not get anywhere with the mortgage company and they could care less about my husband his mother or grandmother. Yep, we lost my husbands grandmother on the 6th of January and his mother on the 27 of January.

My husband calls this company and he really wants to go for the modification because he can't bare to lose the home he grew up in with all the memories. Against my beter judgement I go ahead with the process. The company takes out 1400.00 noting that if they can not do anything they will keep just about 445.00 retainer fee and will refund the rest.

Suprise, the company could not do anything to stop the foreclosure or bargin with the Mortgage Company.

Two months later, several refund requests later and several atempts to contact the supposed smooth talking lawyer will not return phone calls or texts and the company will not respond to my emails.

Any one who reads this. Do not believe this company can help you. Applying for a loan modification is a free process that you can file on your own.

Positive note... Saved home ourselves and out 2000 dollars more in forclosure fees.

Yep, screwed all around.
