Heritage Green, United Dominion Realty ripoff, Invisible Moving Out Charges

I resided in the heritage green apartment for one year. When moving out, I approached the rental apartment to conduct a walk through. They send the supervisor He asked me to fix the following. 1. Fixing the same type of bulb 2. Replacing the gas steel plate as it gets dirty 3. Scrub the oven 4. Clean the few spots in the bath tub (though it has been cleaned).

I did bought the same type bulbs and the gas plates. Also I cleaned the bath tub mentioned. Before handing over the keys, I approached the staff and told about it. She told me that it will be taken care. After I moved out, I was informed that I got to pay a hefty amount $140/- towards cleaning, $4/- towards damage. Now they ask me whether I have proof of document to support that supervisor checked it. Now they say that I had to pay additional 130$ towards Rent. Total charges I now had to pay is 300$ which is a big ripoff. Since they have passed it on to collection agency, I am going to pay to avoid bad credit history on my part. I pray that God will punish all the people involved. I even left the apartment 10 days before the due date. Had I known that I would have come back and set it right.

When I called my friend Debby who stayed earlier in that apartment. She told me that she fought with them too and threatened to take the issue to court. Only after then, they dropped the charges for her.

Charges given to me are
small oil drop on the wall = 30$
carpet stains cleanup (4 spots) = 40$
countertop cleaning 10$
fridge cleaning 10$ (fridge was sparkling clean other than removal of chocolate)
patio cleaning 10$
Trash removal 20$ (newspapers left under the kitchen sink)
bathtubs 20$ (cleaned ones)
