The gentleman with the thick accent talked so fast I could barely understand what he was saying. Promising $200.00 in grocery coupons and free long distance calling for 1 week, they asked for my checking account information. It was stupid of me to give it to them.

As I went through the authorization process, they tried to sell me even more stuff, now that they had my checking account information. I refused all subsequent offers. They kept trying to get me to say yes. I only said yes to the free long distance dialing.

I kept waiting for my information packet to arrive. It took two weeks. I cancelled on the second day after I received the packet. Everything was very clear that I had 7 days from the time I receive my packet to cancel. They charged my checking account the same day I cancelled.

Assuming they would reverse the draft, I was surprised to find a check authorization form in the mail. I called the customer service number, and they refused to do anything other than tell me to mail the authorization form. Supposedly, they will also mail out an overdraft refund form, since I was overdrawn thanks to their unauthorized removal of my funds.

It turns out that the customer service center has no way to contact the parent company. So now I am stuck with an overdrawn account one week before Thanksgiving. Thanks Call-One. Happy Thanksgiving to you too.
