"I ordered a BD-R/RE upgrade for HP DV7t-6B00 CTO laptop. The drive was back-ordered from USA and arrived within a day of original estimate in solid OEM packing. The quality LG OEM drive was installed and recognized transparently by Win7; all the existing OEM software & Blu-Ray playback still worked fine, with the addition of Blu-Ray write capability, as hoped. Tested it by writing a couple Blu-Ray data and movie disks which worked fine in other computers and BD players; perfect upgrade.
