UHaul Richmond, IN, extra charge, toe hitch installation - Tow Hitch Installation

I had a tow hitch installed at the Richmond, IN location, about 30 miles from my home in Ohio. I arrived home to find one of the screws was actually broken off on the right side, therefore not supporting the hitch. I was concerned about safety of towing, and called and spoke with the manager, who was friendly when I first went to the office, but had no time for me when I called about the hitch. He would state he would call me back, but never did, and if I reached him again he would say the computers were down. My susequent calls were directed to their call center, where the female operator said the screw must have broken off from movement of the hitch on my way home! I said to her, that's not comforting that there would be movement, especially when I was not towing anything. She never sent my call through, and I decided I was finished with UHaul. Women traditionally received below parr service at some establishment, but it seems once you've paid for a service at UHaul they are finished with you. Also, I told the manager I was not interested in their insurance, but he added it to my bill anyway. It was only $5.00, but isn't the hitch covered by UHaul anyway? I was very disappointed at the lack of interest after service. All he had to do was reassure me the hitch was safe for towing or carrying multiple bicycles. I didn't need a switch telephone operator faulting me for breaking the screw during a 30 minute drive down the freeway while not towing anything! It appears there may have been another screw added to replace the broken one, but it would have been nice to have been reassured. Ignoring a customer is never a good thing. I did have the hitch checked at a local retailer who said the hitch appeared safe. Also, UHaul should have returned to me everthing they took off my auto in the event the hitch broke away.
