Miscellaneous

My husband received a call on Friday evening just as we were leaving the house. A very insistant indian guy told him he was working in conjunction with Barclays Bank and that he could get him in excess of 2000 for bank charges. This guy seemed to know a lot about my husband, his DOB, his address, and the 12 digits from his debit card. This Indian guy asked him to confirm his last 4 digits on his card. Like a fool my husband did. He then went on to say he was passing him onto another advisor to give him a password. Quoted lots about the Law. My husband said he was not interested and put down the phone. Imediatly after the phone rang and I spoke to Andrew Watson another Indian guy. He told me he needed to speak to him to give him a password. I told him we are not interested and put down the phone. I imediatly rang the bank to cancel his card and the adviser told me that £99.99 had been taken from our account minutes earlier.
We are now trying to get it back. All this because of a scam phone call, where low life call you and take money from an Innocent person. Don't be a fool like my husband - put the phone down. Low life!!!
