I received a phone call from a local number and the person claimed that I had won $160.00 total in various gift cards for previously completing an online survey. She asked that I immediately go online to the wakanetwork.com site where she'd walk me through the process to obtain the gift cards. When I questioned the $2.99 fee, and asked what I was actually buying, she assured me it was a one time fee and that they were a secure site. I tried to obtain further info to verify the company through BBB, but when it came up unknown, and I questioned further, I was simply given a phone number to call, 877-332-1490, if I had difficulty filling out the form. Clearly, I have no intention of taking this process any further.
