Staples I bought a 900 dollar Pavillion desktop HPE PC H8-1240 from Staples

Internet & Web

I purchased a new HP computer from Staples in Salem, N.H. It was 849.00 and the reason I bought it was I needed a nice computer with exeptional graphics to connect to my wide screen TV. The computer was to have great graphics and the the appropriate panel with an HDMI output to do this. From day one this computer gave me hours of stress from different things not working properly ect. I brought it back to Staples a few times and they were GREAT but this computer needed work that could only be done in a service center. I shipeed it back to HP twice and supposedly workwas done on it. I gait it back the secong time and one of the issues was it would not output to the TV Video or Audio. I spoke with some sace managers and they told me the warranty was only good enough that if you turn the computer on and it came on line that was the extent of it. After several calls to their tech support They limited what they did and said the TV aspect of the computer was not covered. I said I had a lemon and was told there are no lemon laws in electronics. Why would a person spend 900 dollars for a computer they bought only so it could hook to a TV with great graphics. The second time I got it back it wouldnt even turn on. This is under their full warranty which I should have read better to find out what it was not good for. Anyway the computer has been in shops more than my house so I brought it back to Staples where it had a good warranty also. The manager of the Staples in Salem, N.H. Took the computer and was in the process of sending it back to HP himself. Upon talking with a case manager at HP they said they NEVER take back a computr but would replace one that is not repairable. Well mine has been there twice and is going back a third and the case manager said it was going to take 5 weeks or even longer by the time I get it back. My problem is as if this isnt enought is no one would tell me at what point the computer is deemed unrepairable to get another. They in my opinion can make you keep sending it back at any time and as many times as they want My warranties could run out before I even get it back. No definative dates when I will physically get it back. On the other hand I have a G7 laptop that runs excellant. I dont feel I was treated right. Im a great frustrated customer. I mean 5 weeks after they get it from Staples and maybe longer? Are they serious. Its too bad. If you buy from this company check the ripp off reports first. Examine the warranty thouroughly. I filed a Better Business Bureau but it went to the wrong place. I am going to make sure it has now reached the right place. This company is so large you can get lost on addressesdates ect. I am also filing a complaint with the attorney general. I hope you have better luck than me. I am computerless and found arrogance in some verbal exchanges. And as we speak I still dont have my thousand dollar computer and they wont even give me an expected return date except to say 5 weeks and possibly longer. The funny part is I like HP but after finding all these hidden policies I would probably not get another.
