Ripoff refusing to cancel membership

I tried to cancel my membership several times over 6-7 months. At first they said I had an annual membership (which I didn't) and couldn't cancel until the end of the year. Then they charged my credit card without my authorization. I think I finally got them to cancel after the next month, it remains to be seen.
Each interaction with them involved multiple phone calls,
unwanted, harassing sales pitches, etc.
