Jung Kim or David Kim took 1,730.00. Ebay auction. Never sent camera. Rip-off! California

I purchased a digital video camera from chromexpress (ebay user name) Paid him with a money order. Item has never been received. His name is jung Kim P.O. Box 262 Orange, Ca 92863. He never sent me a tracking number or insurance number. I spoke with another person who won an auction and they had a simular problem.

He has not replyed to my emails and as off today 9/30- he has cancled his email address. I can no longer send him emails. I called his number listed with ebay 714-235-5645 and I get a mans voice and he says he does not know who jung Kim is. He also goes by David. His email was "david kim" auction number RE: Sony VX 2000. Ebay #3840413612.

I sent him a money order of 1730.00. Ten extra dollars for insurance and 20.00 extra dollars for faster shipping. His last contact with me was on sat 9/25.??? I need help in getting my money back or receiving the product. My name. Monte Cushman: ebay id is voltroniii. My number is 816-806-6964. Need help.

On 9/16/04 I saw his auction. Placed a bid for buy it now the same day. (1700.00) on 9/16/04 he responded that once payment received he would let me know. On 9/17 fri. He replied with the correct address to send payment. He said he would provicde USPS w/prioty mail/tracking #. And 10.00 can be added for insurance. On 9/18 sat. He responded back saying he would ship with insurance and trakcing number and would let me know when payment was received. On 9/19 sun I asked if I could have item shiped faster and send money accordinly. That I would send cashiers check monday am and He should get it by tues or wed. 9/21 or 9/22. On 9/20 he said not a problem. He could send faster shipping and he would let me know once payement had been received. On 9/20 monday am.

I send him payment of 1,730.00 by cashiers check. Usps. Tracking number ER 707932601 BY express mail through usps. $13.65 on 9/20 mon. Another email was sent that he would let me know once payment was received and he would let me receive camera by friday 9/24. On 9/21 he replyed that he got payment, bank was closed and he would go to bank tomorrow, wed. If check clears then he will ship camera right away on wed. He would let me know. On 9/22 he said he shipped today usps with priority mail and he put insurance on item. 1700.00 value. I should receive within 3-4 business days. But he never sent a tracking numer or insurance number.

On 9/23 I asked him to send me a number asap so I can track it! Send something so I know what is going on.
On 9/23 thurs. Later that day I get an email saying sorry for the delay but he missed to ship it with delivery confirmation. But he could guarentee me that the camera would get to me by sat or monday 9/25 or 9/27. Once I receive it to let him know and he would give me positive feedback. Well I never got it and he left positive feedback anyways.

On 9/24 i replyed back saying that if he could then send me the insurance number. I can track it with an insurance number at least. I payed 10.00 for an insurance number.
On 9/25 sat. He said sorry for the delay again but his grandfather is sick and still in the hospital. However he would send me a tracking number as soon as he got back home. And reminded me that I should receive camera on sat or monday. He would let me know of the insurance number asap.

this was the last i have heard from him.
On 9/29 wed. I tried to call the number that ebay provied to call him to see what is going on. 1-714-235-5645. I called once in the afternoon and once in the evening aprox 7:45pm central standard time. The person who answered had no idea who I was and did not know who Jung Kim was or who DAvid was. (he used David Kim on his email address) they were clueless as to who I was. I explained who I was trying to get ahold of and why. Still no idea.

I have sent emails every day sense wondering where the tracking number is and where the camera is. I contacted the Post office in Excelsior springs MO and they have no record of a package coming from Orange, CA to Monte cushman) I still tried to send emails as to what was going on. Each day after 9/29-9/30-10/1 on 9/30 thurs I received an email that stated "This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. Delivery to the following recipients failed." I could no longer send email to this location. It looks like he terminated that email address.

It is friday 10/1 and I have no where to turn. No way to contact this person. I have not left negative feedback yet. But I will soon.in addition. On 9/29 I looked into this chromexpress person (jung/david Kim) I looked at his auctions he was selling. I looked at auctions that ended around the same time mine was. I was able to make contact with somone who had bid on another of his auctions and was leary of this person. He never sent money. It was of a wrist watch that sold for roughly 2000.00.

Frank sent him an email: this is what he said: Hi! Well, the deal has not been done. I bought a watch from him for a ridiculous price knowing that the whole deal can not be right. I asked him to hand the watch to a Rolex dealer in LA so that this dealer can check it. This was a week ago. I havent heard anything since then. I would not send this guy a single dollar. Best Frank. That was on 9/29.
On 9/30 he replyed back again saying: OK, good luck. I hope you get your money back.By the way: he told me that he wanted to go an a vacation with his grandparents. This guy is obviously telling lots of stories. Best Frank.
I got from this that this person (Junk Kim) was telling different stories.

Jung Kim's ebay id name is chromexpress. If you look at his completed aucitons you will see mine and a few others. I dont think I am the only one he took advantage of.
