Job offer scam, careerbuilder email, telecommunications company

I recently posted a resume on CareerBuilder.com for technology/telecommunications fields. Today, I received an e-mail from the "Recruiting Director" of MimsGlobal, Inc inviting me to an online group interview and discussion.

I did a little bit of research on the company and found several issues of concern:

1) You have to PAY for "training materials" to get started.
2) You are an independent contractor and you have to drum up your own business... Even though the e-mail talks about working as part of a "team" to promote and expand the business. (tricky!)

I've seen deals like this before and when you compare "reality" to the model they're presenting in these "recruitment" e-mails, something is shady.

I'm also disappointed that with the number of "rip off" reports out there about this company that Careerbuilder.com hasn't blocked them from the resume viewing process.
