Ripoff we sent this laptop to them 4 times and it still is broken

On Jan 1 we purchased a top of the line gateway laptop from a gateway store in reno nevada. We started having problems with the ac connector not connecting to the laptop to give it the juice it needed. We would have to constantly move it around to keep power coming through. We had called several times to gateway, because our local store did not service them, only sell them. So we had to call the 800 #.

They told us to mail it in. We did this and got our laptop back in a couple of weeks.

It had a new problem, freezing up and we had to keep rebooting.

Then after a while of this, we had to reboot 3 times to get it to come back on.

After a while of this, the computer would turn on, but not load windows and just would run the fan.

So we called gateway again. They gave us a hard time and said our warranty expired. After getting upset and demanding to speak with the manager, the service rep came back on the line and apologized and said, "oh, send it back, we accidentally broke it and can fix it"

So for the second time, we sent it back.

We get it back in 3 weeks. After a couple days of using, the power problem (the original issue) is back again.

So we call again, get the same hard deal with "you will have to pay for this", we get upset, they said sorry, send it back again.

We sent it back, got it back in 3 weeks with supposedly a new adapter and guess what, IT IS STILL BROKEN!

We call back and say, "hey, we sent this laptop to you 4 times! And it still is broke. Also, you fdisk (erase the computer) each time and we loose everything and have to re install each time."

They said "send it back again" NOTE that each time we called the support, each technician said that we would have to pay at least $200 each time to get it fixed, but gateway has never billed us for it.

I am so upset with Gateway. We spent over $3,000 on this piece of crap laptop. I need it to work from home because of health problems and i still have a busy business to keep up with, so this laptop is very important that it works.

So, we will be sending it back for the 5th time and call more managers and making more complaints.

I have only 14 minutes left until the computer completely dies.

I hate gateway, and recommend that know be ripped off by this horrible company ever again.
