I recently went to www.buyershaven.com to order my deaf son a vibrating alarm clock. After giving my credit card I shortly received a confirmation of sale and order number from the company. It said the order would take up to 4 weeks but the item was in stock!
I checked a few days later and the charge was on my credit card statement. I waited for 2 weeks. I went back to the website and found a consumer comment section. I sent them a note to ask about my order and heard nothing back. I sent another and heard nothing again. But, the second time I looked for a phone number and there isn't one on the site. This makes no sense to have no phone number available. I really got worried then!
At the bottom of the space offering consumer comments was a link to a site called alexa.com and there were over 30 complaints like mine who ordered things and received nothing! I hope this letter can stop even one person from getting scammed by them!
