Time Warner Cable's inconsiderate Practice Needs toChange

First I would like to say that after reading all of the commplaints, I am relieved that I am not a Time Warner customer. My issue with Time Warner is its inconsiderate practice of providing service in the middle of the night. I live in a first floor apartment of which the utility box is located outside of my bedroom window. A few nights ago I woke to a man outside my window with a flashlight. It scared me half to death because I thought, "Oh my goodness! Someone is breaking into my home!"' I peered through my blinds, but could make out nothing but the light moving around. I then banged on the window and yelled for the man to get away from my window. He told me that he was from Time Warner and had to complete a service. My reply was "Who provides service at 2:30 in the morning?!" He said, "Well if you don't believe me, call Time Warner." instead I called the police. When the officer arrived, the man was gone. He said he would check to see if the man was still in the area. After 10 minutes, the officer returned saying the man was contracted by Time Warner to work on service lines between 2 and 4 am because it was a convenient time for its customers. Really? It seems unbelievable to me that Time Warner can't be considerate enough to send service men out during daylight hours when I can clearly see a uniform and am not frightened half to deay out of my sleep! Whoever came up with this bright idea shoild've considered contacting residents to forewarn them of service men outside their windows in the mide of the night. The police officer I spoke to informed me that I wasn't the first person to call them with this complaint. So it seems to me that if others gave had this problem, Time Warner would adjust their device time to 6-8 am when their contractors don't have to use a flashlight! Well, my hope is that Time Warner will read this and change its practices. However, I don't think the company will care by the way it has treated its own customers. The good thing is that I will never become a Time Wraner customer, and I will be sure to continue my voice my complaint to the media and the Better Business Bureau.
