Won't answer calls, emails, faxes, ripped off, down time, disappeared

I have had my website hosted by HostVelocity for two years.
In those two years I have experience much down time, limited access to email for weeks at a time and zero customer service.
In the past two weeks my email provided by HostVelocity has been inaccessible. I have emailed them 12 times, ICQ'd them for hours at a time, phoned, and faxed them.
Their phone number doesn't work, their fax line rings forever, they haven't responded to any of my emails or attempts at contact.
Their links on their website for help and forums are broken.
Basically, I have payed a year ahead and I am in a contract with a company who is not providing what they promised, and they have split the country with my money.
The sad things many of my friends are also hosted with them and are experiencing the exact same problems as me.
Very sad, and very frustrating!
