Time Warner Cable not living up to promises - TIME WARNER CABLE

My wife and I signed up 2 years ago after problems with Direct Tv. I spoke to a supervisor before we signed up and asked if the rate would go up. I was told: "no, we done't have contracts" I said, so the rate will not go up after 24 months? The reply was "yes, that is correct" Well, funny, after the 24 months was up this month they billed me what will cost an additional $43 a month to continue my service. They said best we can do is knock off $14 a month and maybe give me a better rate on internet but it would only be for a year. I feel they are deceptive with their "promotions" and really wish that we had more competion to keep them in check. I am going to drop Time Warner and get Direct TV back, at least they are up front with their billing and policies
