Newspaperarchive.com will not let you cancel your subscription - BEWARE

I signed up with www.newspaperarchive.com in January. The last day for my subscription was today. When I went to cancel online I saw that I had already been charged $41 for the next three months. The online form to cancel does not work and when you call the phone number listed, no one answers. I've called about 10 times today. I am going to file a dispute through my bank but the woman I spoke to said I would probably lose because I said that I understood the terms and conditions.

I had to send an email to cancel. I received one stating that I would not be re-billed after July but that I had not cancelled in time to not get billed this time even though today was the day my subscription expired. What a scam! I will definitely be telling everyone I know not to sign up. This website has so many technical problems and doesn't work most of the time.

Now I'm afraid that they will still rebill me after this. I might just pay off my credit card and close it just so that doesn't happen. I hope that this company gets investigated!
