Continue to ripoff former customers if they don't cancel the credit card to setup the account

We used Trustfax in a business that has been out of business for more than 1 1/2 yrs. Out of the blue I got a charge of 99.95 from Trustfax in my checking account. When I called I was told that if I couldn't prove I cancelled the account in 2010 then they were free to charge my account. Not only that but they plan on charging a prorated fee in March as I cancelled the account on March 1. This account was cancelled in 2010 and has been dormant for more than 1.5 years. This is a blatant ripoff because I didn't cancel my debit card. Beware and don't use this service.
