Kazaa.com has a fake 7 day free trial.

I registered for the free trial to track down an mp3 or two. I cancelled the same day. I did not receive a confirmation of cancelling that you get with legit sites. I wrote one email saying I had not received a confirmation and that I do not expect to be charged as I have cancelled.

It is 3 days later. I see in my bank account there is a 9.99 pending payment to KAZAACOM 800 40STUDIO CITY. That is how it reads. I immediately wrote 5 emails each less tackful than the last. I twittered them 5 plus times.

I looked up any and all contact info. There is a number that gives you a message saying that they do not take calls. There is information that a different company owns them in Studio City. (Something Tech Something) They're number has been disconnected.

Anyways, I did what I could. I just wonder if Im going to be giving them 9.99 a month forever or they just cheated me once.

Sigh.
