Dell Computers
Ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing

Dell Computers fraudulently charged me interest on a loan that I was told would be interest free for 6 months. When I tried to question the charges, I had trouble getting through to the credit department (the telephone menu said the dept was closed and I had called on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday).
If and When I finally got to talk to a person, they didn't have access to that information, didn't speak English enough to be understood, had trouble with their phone lines or their computers were down. They eventually turned this account over to a collection agency and they are the ones that helped me override Dell's phone menu.
I had paid the account in full in January to avoid paying any interest charges and it has taken me until JUly to get my account with them to read 0. They had charged me shipping on a computer that they ordered wrong in November.
They sell a very good computer but their financial system leaves a lot to be desired. I can't begin to tell you the frustations and the times I have spent on the phone trying to get in touch with them. I had emailed them, mailed them 3 letters and tried to reach them by phone numerous times. They said the email was sent to the wrong dept. With no explanation as to which dept to send it to. They totally ignored the 3 letters I mailed them and the people who answer the phones are poorly trained.
I just cannot stress enough to anyone who might be thinking of using their credit system to please think otherwise. This company is only out to defraud the customer with their finance charges.
