After receiving a very good recommendation for Dyana DeMarco's services to design/develop a website for me I gave Dyana a $500 deposit by way of PayPal.
Since she had no kind of contract or plan for how the work would go I found a template for one online. This is when I found out Dyana doesn't even build websites. She only does graphics. So, she brought in her "partner" that actually does website design and development and another person for coding. A few Skype calls were made between Dyana and sometimes the others in regards to planning the work and going over the contract I had provided.
I could not pay any more than the initial $500 and was told when I was ready to get back to her, which I did appx 12 months later.
Now, she will not return messages or calls. The few times she has answered the phone she says she's sleeping or busy.
Understanding that she only does graphics and having a site built since then I asked if she would just go in to the new site and spiff it up with what she does do with appealing colors, graphics, etc. I wasn't asking her to build, just do something for the money she already took.
I gave her $500 and I received nothing in return. I was misled as to what that money was for to begin with. This is most definitely a RipOff!
