Incommunicado, a phantom

I bought a downloaded Office 2010 Pro Plus. First download was provided with a faulty product key and I had to download a second time. After installation the transfer of files and settings from older computer presented no problems. However, the Address Book will not populate. This may be due to a corrupted profile, but I have been unable to create a new one. I tried to run Fixmapi. Exe but it will not run, so perhaps the entire program is corrupted. I do not know.

I am to all practical intents and purposes unable to get useful customer support. Website says chat is available 24/7, but it is not. Usually one is requested to leave a message to which no response ever comes. The chat also sometimes advises that the system is down for update. I connected twice to chat. First time I was given useless advice and cut off. Second time I was told I was being transfer to a manager named Charles, but the connection ended.

Only one of many emails has received any reply. I was asked to delineate the problem, and I did. Two days later, no further response.

Phone is robotically answered and the robot says all reps are busy and the call cannot be taken1 No queue to wait, no other alternatives.

I paid with PayPal and they do not offer customer protection on a download! How very convenient.
