Sells bad software and offers ineffective tech support

Internet & Web

Purchased MasterCook 11 v. 1.0 in March. After nine months of reliable use it simply stopped launching. Went online and found a software "Patch." When I tried to use that patch I received a message that MC11 was not installed on my computer. I opted to pay for and download the software again because v. 1.10 was now available and apparently included the patch. I installed it and attemped to reload a personal cookbook from my previous installation and the program did not recognize the file. Launching the program took quite awhile but it generally ran properly. Now it won't launch at all.

I sent an email to the only address I had and was informed that they don't handle tech support. Went to the web address I was given, had already been there. There were a couple of generic fixes which hadn't fixed the problem and, there is no other tech support available for the software. I've lost more than 300 recipes in my file because I cannot open it and there is absolutely no help.
