Auctionawy Failed to support his non-functioning software after I paid him to install it

I have been a user if multiple scripts of Mewsoft, but primarily the auction software auctionawy for around 7 years. I have spent quite a bit with him over the years including paying for some of the custom updates to the script. Also, I own a small hosting company and have had multiple customers buy his scripts because of my recommendation. Although somewhat buggy at times Ahmed was above average in the area of support. This is why I supported him for so long. I have, over the years, often done my own upgrades and updates, but when I just didn't have the time I would pay Ahmed to apply them for me. A recent update became available, and since I was busy I paid $149.00 to renew my license for all 3 scripts I have and another $150.00 to have him apply the upgrade for me. This was significantly more expensive than any of the other times but he assured me there was a lot of work involved this time. First he only upgraded the auction script. When I asked he said that was all I paid for??? (wish I knew that first) but I let it go. So... After the install was complete it seemed to work until less than a month later another update became available. I tried to update using the "new" updater he had installed for me in the previous upgrade, and the updater did not work. I submitted a support request to have this fixed and he offered to apply the new update for $100.00. I declined and told him I would update myself I just wanted the updater that I paid $150.00 for to work. He responded that the new update would fix the updater... Again I told him I only wanted the updater fixed that I paid for less that a month ago, and he (rudely) responded that he had answered the issue multiple times and the topic was closed. All of the above can be read in the forum on the Mewsoft website. I responded back and told him I couldn't believe after I supported him for 7 years he was refusing to support me. I said I would seek a different vendor. He promptly deleted my last post from the forum. He contacted me via email to offer a discount on the latest update. Wow! Buggy scripts with decent support is not a bad option. Without support, its just a buggy script. I recommend you look elsewhere. What a shame.
