Books On CD-ROM
Ripoff did not send merchandise after cashing my check no response to my mail follow-up

"Books on CD-ROM" advertized (on the Internet) a collection of classic books on CD-ROM (with both text and audio) for a total price of $21.95 (included S/H) and gave their mailing address. On May 4, I placed an order onto their form on the Internet, printed it and mailed with my check. The check cleared my bank on May 13. The CD was never received. On Sep 11, I mailed a follow-up letter stating the facts and asking for the CD or a refund by Oct 15. I received no response and my letter was returned by the Postal Service (as undeliverable).

I can no longer locate them on the Internet by searching. I have also had a computer crash since dealing with them on the Internet, so their old address is not recoverable by me.

I have a copy of their "Mail Order Form" which I completed with my mailing address, but it does not have their email address, nor Internet address.

I also have a copy of my follow-up letter.
