I am unaware of any aka's, however, have not researched to see if they have any. Procrastinating on Order, Requesting Vital Information, e.G. Social Security Card, Driver License

Internet & Web

I have become, over the past two months, increasingly suspect and worried about this company. I have complied with all the terms of their contract which are: (1) Pay the activation fee of $99.00 by way of pre-paid electronic check debit from my checking account; (2) Make five, consecutive uninterrupted payments after the initial $99.00 activation fee. I made my fifth payment on May 4. It is now July 2. I called them twice and received two different stories. The first explanation for my not having received the merchandise was that it all had to be paid for prior to its being shipped (similar to a traditional lay-away plan). The reason I called them again was because the contract clearly states that after the activation payment and the five subsequent payments, the merchandise would be shipped and the remaining balance treated as a traditional credit agreement purchase. The 2nd telephone call alarmed me most. They said they had written to me requesting that I send them copies of my Social Security Card, Driver License and most recent Utility Bill. Number one, I never received any such letter requesting these documents. I was never, throughout my having conducted business with this company been advised that these documents would ever be necessary. Number two, this organization already has a copy of my voided check from my checking account that they have been debitting, successfully and without interruption, since January. I do not make a practice of ever divulging my Social Security number, let alone sharing a copy of it with anyone, unless it is a government agency at their office, i.E., Department of Social and Health Services, HUD, the Social Security Administration, etc. Their entire inducement to engage in business with them is that they do not conduct a credit check. Yes, when I have purchased vehicles, or similar transactions, I have been asked to provide articles of identification, but that has been at the office building of such a lending institution and for the purposes of conducting a credit check. I was not entirely comfortable in the first place to provide Tronix Country with a copy of a voided check from my checking account. The only time I have ever been requested to do so was when I opted to be paid through my employer's payroll department by Direct Deposit and when I chose Direct Deposit from the Social Security Administration for rceipt of my monthly award checks. I pay nearly all of my bills over the Internet and several of them are paid through automatic deduction, such as my automobile insurance. None of these companies ever asked for a copy of my voided check. I also pay some of my bills through the Interne bill payment system offered by my bank, which can be arranged on a monthly basis or as a recurring, routine monthly debit. I would have been far more comfortable arranging payment to Tronix Country by setting payments up through my bank, but decided instead after some preliminary research, that it was probably safe to conduct business with Tronix in the fashion they were directing me. The problem is, I have fulfilled all of their requirements and continue to receive no merchandise. I am being told that no shipping date will be arranged until I provide them copies of the aforementioned documents. Since I have waited this long receiving nothing, I decided to investigate more deeply which is how I discovered your organization. The testimonials I read evoked great concern, particularly since their policy is that if the consumer decides to cancel their order, they will not receive any refund of their money - only credit toward other Tronix merchandise.

Is there anything you can do to advise me what course of action I should take in this matter? I have never encountered a situation such as this in all the years that I have been doing business on the Internet.

Thank you in advance for your attention to this matter and for your cooperation.

Respectfully
