I was hoping since I could install my own cable and internet that my previous gripes with Comcast would be avoided, but I was sorely mistaken. Once again, they prove to be useless. When trying to activate my internet service (new customer) the tech worked with me for a whole 2 mins before transferring me to Apple for assistance with my Mac. The issue had nothing to do with my Mac computer and if he had taken the time to do his job he would have realized that. Thankfully, the second tech I spoke to wasn't quite so ignorant and the issue was resolved.
