On May 28th, I called Time Warner "Customer Care" to advise them that I, being human, made a mistake and sent them over $2300 that was meant to go to another creditor. On May 29th I called to follow-up and was told the "ticket" was closed. After doing this for several days I was told to fax my bank statement, showing the transaction, to the accounting department—I did that. I was then contacted by a Customer Care Lead Represnetative (Jan) who assured me Accounting was taking care of the issue. They were not. I called back on June 6th and spoke to the Accounts Receivable Manager (Kathy Jacobs) who told me nothing was happening with my request because, essentially, I hadn't yet proven I wasn't a criminal. I needed to have my bank write a letter in order to resolve the issue. Kathy assured me that once the letter was received (which it was on June 14th), she would overnight me a check. Today is June 24th. They've had my funds for the better part of a month. I've been misinformed, outright lied to, ignored, etc. But sadly, I haven't been helped.
