Mike Runkle Cyber Defamation

A few weeks ago I got a call from Mike Runkle at RealPractice (http://www.realpractice.com/). Mike Runkle does online marketing via search engine optimization. I watched a webinar and told Mike Runkle it sounded pretty interesting. I gave Mike Runkle the firm credit card information so he could fill in the paperwork and e-mail it to me. I said I'd have to discuss it with my partner before committing though, and Mike Runkle said that he couldn't charge the card until he received back a written authorization.

After I didn't return the authorization form, Mike Runkle called back. I said we decided to pass. Mike Runkle said they already charged the card for a 3 month intro rate but that he would just charge me for 1 month since he said I orally authorized the charge. I said I didn't and that I hadn't signed the authorization form. Mike Runkle was really rude. Last Friday, I got an e-mail saying the full charge was reversed.

Hever, I Googled my name and 3 new websites appeared: http://owenkaye.net/, http://owenkaye. Tv / and http://owenkaye.com/. They are all identical. They all have the same Google heading "Owen Kaye - Mediocre Life Coach" and each website says "Owen Kaye, Author of 'The Power of Not Bad' and 'Leave Greatness to the Great.'" Today I noticed that a twitter account shows up with my name with similar postings.

Mike Runkle and the guys at RealPractice are obviously behind this campaign. I carefully monitor my online presence as clients and potential clients constantly do the same.
