Sniperhill Internet Services LLC
Monopoly, bad customer service, false advertisement, and poor quality

Internet & Web

First of all, Sniperhill should be ashamed of making a killing on charging our military members up to $110 a month for shotty at best internet service. Furthermore they are the only option available here in COB Warrior (Kirkuk, Iraq). The speeds are not half of what are advertised and the service is cutoff, or poor, in nearly 60% of my usage. They do not allow multiple users, therefore in my mod of 16 rooms (4 per room), the revenue Sniperhill brings in is aproximately $7040 month (with the $110 service). There are some slightly lower rates, however, the speeds will not even allow you to Skype or make decent internet telephone calls. I realize that we are in a warzone and should feel lucky that we have internet at all, however that does not cover up the fact that an "American" company is able to monopolize the industry over here and "ripoff" our soldiers and Airmen! To top this off, they higher foreigners to run their helplines and customer service, who are sometimes very rude. Our internet has not worked now for 2 days and some of our service calls have been told to stop calling for they are fixing it? Also, I do not figure on any type of refund to be given out.
