Princess Invitations
Unauthorized charges rude mean bad vendor unprofessional lied

Internet & Web

I used Princess Invitations to order wedding invitations and everything went smoothly. After receiving my order I sent an email inquiry about seals for the back of the invitations. About a week after I sent the first email (from the "contact us" link on the website) I hadn't heard anything so I called to speak with someone. They told me to send another email and they'd call me for billing information after they got it. I did so, but was never contacted so I finally ordered the seals from another vendor because I needed to mail out my invitations and couldn't keep waiting.

About a week later seals from Princess Invitations arrived at my door. The seals were sent and charged to the same credit card I had used to order the invitations, but I was never called to confirm that the order was processed nor did I authorize any charge. My card was charged without my knowledge or consent. I called after realizing the seals were not from the vendor I thought they had come from, but were in fact from Princess Invitations. The woman I spoke with was nice. She looked up the record, saw what had happened and said I'd get a refund.

A week or so later no refund had come through so I called again to see what the status was. This time I spoke with the owner. I only spoke with her, however, after explaining the situation, being placed on hold by her for 10 minutes, and calling back. She was very rude and said she didn't see why I would have gotten a refund. She said she saw the order to reund in the refund basket but took it out because she didn't think I should get one. She didn't bother to call or email me to let me know this, however. I told her I never authorized the charge and she said she had my previous email ordering seals. I repeated the conversation I had with her employee about receiving a phone call for billing. She become incredibly rude, even yelling at me over the phone. When I asked her specific questions such as, "did you ever receive authorization to process that order?" she just danced around the query saying, "well, you got them, didn't you?"

My mother called back after I hung up, shaken at being treated in such a way, and the owner then lied to her, saying they had sent an email confirmation. When my mother asked if they could produce said confirmation the woman danced around that question as well. No confirmation was ever sent. I would not recommend Princess Invitations for any need you may have.
