Charged us for equipment we weren't told needed to be sent back three months after the fact

We cancelled with Hughesnet in November. They asked us to send back thier equipment in the box provided. All was fine until we wnet in the overdraft the end of January and find a $208 charge from them on our checking statement. They said it was for the radio transmitter on the dish that is on our roof now covered with snow. We didn't know anything about this devise and told them so. We asked them send us a box and as soon as the weather permitted we would get the devise off the roof and send it to them, but that they needed to refund the money they had taken from our account and the fees associated with the items that wouldn't pay because of it.

The customer service rep wouldn't do anything so we spoke to a supervisor. Explained that it was their fault they had not gotten all the equipment back (they hadn't told us there was a part on the roof) and they would already have the part with the first ones sent. Also explained that we had not been notified that not all the parts had been received when they received the package and that them charging our account for this part had resulted in our account being overdrawn that we expected hem reimburse us immediately they refused and will not send us a box to send the part in when we can get to it. We told them it could be a while before we can get the part down due to the weather. They said they will refund when they get the part. We say you would have the part already if we had known. We believe we are intitled to compensation for the charges and late fees for those items sent back and not paid. Like many Americans we are struggling and we do not have a extra $200 in our account.
