Yoursecretsource rip off on exchange If something goes wrong with your order you are at their mercy

My boyfriend ordered a scarf/hat set from yoursecretsource.com. It was supposed to be a Christmas present for me. It arrived on 12/23/03, but was the wrong color. The packing slip included said the correct color.

Their exchange policy on the site said that any exchanges must be made within seven days of the package's arrival, and a money order must be included to cover postage. Nothing in their exchange policy said what to do in the event of a wrong item sent, so we both sent emails immediately after the package arrived asking what to do. We didn't want to pay extra postage for someone else's mistake. This was fully explained in both emails. We also asked them to get back to us quickly so the package could be returned within their seven day timeframe.

12/30/03 EXACTLY seven days after the package arrived and we sent emails, someone from the company emailed me to let me know that of course the items could be exchanged. Of course, I had to make sure that I sent the package back within SEVEN DAYS of its arrival!!! The email also did not address the matter of postage.
So I went to their website looking for a phone number, and guess what? Not a phone number or an address to be found. I sent a very angry email demanding that they live up to their 100% satisfaction guaranteed promise on their site. I demanded an immediate reply. So far, no response.

Do not buy from these people. If something goes wrong with your order, you are at their mercy. And they sell products way more expensive than scarfs. Don't take a chance. Buy from someone with a phone number and a clear exchange/refund policy.
